Self Portrait-2015

Dunnnnn.dun dun dun dun dunnn dunnn…

The low brass section marches down the street playing Seven Nation Army (Track 1). We marched single file, blasting loud and proud (and it was awesome…-haters gonna hate). Now I really wished I had learned this entire album on the Tuba. Some of you think I am a huge nerd right now, and that’s okay.

Jack White starts the album off strong with Seven Nation Army, presumably pissed off at his peers for gossiping.

He sings:

I’m going to Wichita
Far from this opera for evermore
I’m gonna work the straw
Make the sweat drip out of every pore
And I’m bleeding, and I’m bleeding, and I’m bleeding
Right before the lord
All the words are gonna bleed from me
And I will think no more

And the stains comin’ from my blood tell me, “Go back home.”

Apparently, no recording technology beyond 1963 was used to produce this album. That’s pretty neat! How neat is that?
For some legendary guitar riffs, refer below:
Track 6: ” I Want To Be The Boy”- 1:50
Track 8: “Ball & Biscuit”-the entire song
