Day 143: “Roseland NYC Live” by Portishead

Our hammock 🙂

I definitely needed this album this week. It was a great stress reliever for my mid-week chaos! A new friend told me about it, and I am quite appreciative of the recommendation.

I’ve listened to Portishead’s first album “Dummy”, and loved it. It’s that strange mix between trip-hop, alternative and rock…overpowered by Beth Gibbon’s haunting vintage jazz vocals. LOVE!

What is particularly wonderful on this live album is that the concert was performed with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Excellent.

I definitely recommend checking this one out…especially if you are looking for some relaxing late night beats.
